Panoramas of the World

Las Vegas (night)

Las Vegas, located in the southeast of Nevada, is a city of gambling in the middle of the desert. When the gambling prohibition was repealed at the beginning of the thirties, and at the same time work on the Hoover dam began, the former small town grew up to a gambling metropolis.

Today, the city transforms into a sea of light when it gets dark. Gigantic casinos and hotels invite millions of tourists. Here the Eiffel Tower was copied, as well as the Statue of Liberty, the Rialto Bridge in Venice and the Egyptian pyramids. In this city with its 500,000 inhabitants, temperatures reach more than 40 degrees in summer. Visitors of the national parks in the vicinity should not miss Las Vegas.
