The combination of architecture and nature is established successfully in this park. Kite figures, palms and grottos make it a fairy tale landscape. UNESCO declared it a part of world heritage in 1984. The pictorial park was established by Antoni Gaudí. He got the order from Eusebi Güell, hence the name of the park. Originally, it was meant as a settlement. The enormous terrace, which canbe seen in this panorama picture, was originally planned as a market.
