Shibuya Crossing (Tokyo)

New York has its Times Square, Tokyo the Shibuya Crossing. At certain times, this intersection is crossed by up to 15,000 people per traffic light phase.

The so-called "all going crossing" became a landmark in Japan - and a symbol for the bustling activity of Japan. There is no other crossing world-wide which is so heavily used by pedestrians. The city life can be observed best from the adjacent Starbucks.
