Panoramas of the World

St. Mark`s Square (Venice)

Napoleon called this place in the heart of Venice the “most beautiful salon in the world” - and he did not exaggerate. Today it is the main attraction in the lagoon city.

The 175-meter long square was the scene of numerous celebrations and processions. Very rarely you will find it empty. Expect your drinks to be expensive in the cafés you find there. This wonderful piazza was built 800 years ago. During the day it is populated by pigeons. The St. Mark`s Square is definitely worth a visit, be it by day or night.
