San Giorgio II (Venice)

The island San Giorgio Maggiore with its Benedictine monastery offers an outstanding view towards the skyline of Venice.

The island is only a few minutes away from St. Mark`s Square by boat. This panorama photo was taken inside the monestery. Asecond panorama photo was taken from the bell tower of the monastery. This view can easily be compared with the one from the bell tower in St. Mark`s Square.
