Panoramas of the World

Monte Stella (Milan)

There are only a few places to look down onto Milan from above. This is because Milan spreads out over a flat area. On clear days, the summit of Monte Stella offers quite a far view.

Monte Stella on the northwest outskirts of the city is a recreational park today. The shrubs and trees make you quicklyforget the fact that this hill is artificial. It was built after 1945 from debris and has a height of 170 meters. If the smog of the city does not cloud the view too much, even an alpine panorama can be seen.
