This cathedral in Milan is one of the largest Christian churches. It measures approximately 160 meters in length, the base area amounts to 11,400 square meters. The foundation stone of the Milan Cathedral was laid in 1386. However, it took several hundred years to build the church. Especially impressive is the roof of the cathedral. There are holy statues, animals and demons. Altogether the roof has about 3500 figures. |
