Panoramas of the World

Lake Garda I (Italy)

Lake Garda is the largest lake in Italy. The lake in northern Italy was formed by glaciers at the end of the last ice age. The German poet Goethe referred to this beautiful lake in his works.

The northern part of the lake is surrounded by mountains. This panorama picture was taken on Mount Baldo, whose summit can be reached easily by a gondola from Malcesine. But it is very rare that the view is as clear as in this photo.
