The Landungsbrücken are located in St. Pauli and are one of the major attractions at the harbour of Hamburg. At the western end there is a slope to the old Elbe tunnel. For visitors the Pegelturm is interesting with its water gauge presenting information about the current conditions of tides. The pier at the Landungsbrücken is nearly 700 meters long. Long ago even large ships arrived here. Today you find mainly boats for a harbour tour. |
