The Binnenalster is the smaller, southern part of the Alstersee in Hamburg. The fontaine in the center of the Binnenalster reaches a height of up to 60 meters. The Lombardsbrücke, where this panorama photo was taken, separates the Aussenalster from the Binnenalster. The bridge was originally made out of wood, however it was replaced with a stone construction in 1865. The bridge is almost 70 meters long and has three arches. Once here was a pawnshop called Lombard. |
