Moraine Lake II
Many travellers call Moraine Lake the most beautiful lake in the Rocky Mountains. The lake is located in Banff National Park.
Moraine Lake in the "Valley of the Ten Peaks" can be reached by a mountain route 13 kilometers long. Rockpile View Point offers the best view toward the turquoise glowing and forest-surrounded water surface in the midst of snow-covered mountains three thousand meters high, a fill of rock and stones. But also the panorama from the banks of the Moraine Lakes is worth the short walk along the lake.
