The Healy pass near Banff offers a breathtaking panorama of the surrounding mountains, particularly in autumn, when you see its golden larks. Hikers have to cross the Healy Pass in the Canadian Rocky Mountains when they walk from Sunshine Village to Egypt Lake. Then they follow the route of Sir George Simpson, who mastered the pass as early as 1841. It might snow at the pass in September. Hikers should be prepared for wind, snow, and cold weather. After it snows, it is very difficulty to find the way to Egypt Lake. You will find another panorama here. |
