Lakes Entrance was originally a fishing village. Today it is a Mecca for tourists. To reach the amazing "90 Miles Beach" you have to pass over a footbridge. This place is still home port of a relatively large fishing fleet, which puts its nets into the water especially in the Bass Strait and the Tasman Sea. If you take a look from above, the coast looks rather like the Caribbean. |
